Straight out of the Camera ~ covered bridge

In Lane County in Oregon, we went on a route to take in quite a few covered bridges from the early 1900's - here is the Currin Bridge built in 1925:

I love covered bridges. There's quite a few to find here in New England.

This looks so mysterious! It reminds me of the bridge used in the spooky movie "Harvest Home"! Great shot!

I also love covered bridges. They hark back to simpler times, not that I want simpler times, but I still love some of the symbols.

We do not have covered bridges in my part of the country but they are so charming. I always think of Ichabod Crane and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,"

Love the shot!
I toured one route nearby about a year ago and have another one I'm going to do soon. They are almost all alike wherever you go but at the same time each is different. I never think oh another covered bridge. :)
