Brenda's Photo Challenge ~ Keeping Cool

Well, we are experiencing a heat wave here - with humid temperatures that we are not used to one bit! So my husband came home with this lovely unit that makes sleeping more pleasant for our family!and well, since Lucerne Frozen Treats were on sale last week at Safeway, my freezer is embarrassingly stocked well with fudgesicles, popsicles and ice cream sandwiches!We're KEEPING COOL, Baby!

The challenge is to get up close and personal, to get a macro shot... here is my African Violet that is in bloom right now! I can't get good in-focus shots really really up close, need to practice more on that or get more zoom capabilities! ;)

Circles

I just found Brenda's Photo Challenge from Jan's blog Murrieta 365 - Jan hosts the Straight out of the Camera meme - which I love!

My middle son put on his Daddy's Crocs to be out on our deck this morning while I watered the grass. This shot it a bit blurry, but I liked the way it showed off his teeny feet in the big crocs:This shot is more in focus - but doesn't "focus" on the feet as well, I'll include it:
