Sky Watch Friday

I didn't know which one to post - yesterday we were up on a "mountain" (not like the ones in the 1st photo but more than just a hill) with our Kids to have a picnic and play at the playground... I spotted these two loan trees that stuck out like sore thumbs in different locations on this developed mountain- so really my focus is more on the trees than the sky, but they are "in" my view of the sky...enough said. :)

Two trees, a hill and the sun. Sometimes that´s all that it takes to get a good feeling. Thanks!

Similar subjects, but completely different surroundings and elements, which effectively creates different moods and tone. Well captured and welcome to Skywatch as well as all the other challenges!

I wonder if the trees feel lonesome? but their views are excellent. MB

Jen, both these pictures are beautiful and their compositions are great. I love solo trees in photos. Thanks for sharing and have a great rest of the weekend.

Absolutely great lone pine shots. Although I'm a sucker for mountains, this time the simplicity of the second gets my vote hands down. Sometimes less is definitely more!
